Facilitated Program
You've got a strategic plan. Now what?
Your organisation has a strategic plan. But somehow, it's not translating into action.
Most organisations and businesses don't fail because of a bad strategy. They stall because they can't turn that strategy into a focused, workable plan for the next twelve months. The goals are there, but the priorities aren't clear. Resources are stretched. And motivation fades because nobody's sure what the next concrete step looks like.

This program brings your leadership team together for a facilitated day to cut through the noise and agree on what matters most.
It's not a full strategic planning process. It's not a review of your mission. It's not a governance audit.
It's the critical next step that most organisations skip: taking the goals you've already set and deciding, together, what you're actually going to do about them in the next twelve months. Not wish lists. Not pet projects. A realistic set of priorities that you can actually deliver.
We review your strategic plan, understand what's working and what's stalled, and ensure the day is focused and productive from the first minute.
A structured, facilitated day with your leadership team to agree on criteria, prioritise initiatives, reality-check against capacity and assign ownership.
We produce a concise action plan that captures what was decided, what needs to happen, who owns it and what comes next.
You complete a short intake questionnaire and we have a scoping call (30 to 45 minutes) with you or your key decision-makers. We review any relevant documents, including your current strategic plan. This ensures Jodie comes in prepared and the day is productive from the first minute.
Jodie facilitates a structured conversation with your leadership team. Rob provides support. Together, we'll:
Within five business days, we deliver a prioritised 12-month action plan (5 to 10 pages) that captures what was decided, what needs to happen, who owns it and what comes next.
We walk you through the action plan on a short call to make sure it's clear, realistic and ready to use.
Most organisations don't fail because of a bad strategy. They stall because they can't turn that strategy into a focused, workable plan. This program exists to close that gap.
We're Jodie and Rob, co-founders of Happy Changemakers and authors of Package Promote Scale. Together, we've helped over 500 businesses and organisations plan, deliver and grow.
Jodie is an expert in governance and facilitation, a former CEO of Travellers Aid Australia, and a trusted consultant to boards and leadership teams across Australia. Rob brings structured thinking around commercial acumen, planning and turning decisions into workable action plans.
We designed Activate Your Strategy because we've seen, again and again, that good strategies gather dust when there's no structured way to turn them into realistic, prioritised action.
That's fine. As long as the strategy is still broadly relevant, this program helps you extract the priorities that matter now and build a realistic plan around them. If the strategy itself needs a rethink, we'll be upfront about that during the scoping call.
Whoever is relevant to be in the room — typically 3 to 15 people. This works best with the leadership team who'll be responsible for making decisions and owning delivery. We'll help you work out the right group during the scoping call.
Yes. The program is designed to be delivered in person, as face-to-face facilitation produces better decisions and stronger alignment. If circumstances require a virtual option, we can do that too.
That's exactly what facilitation is for. Jodie is experienced at navigating different perspectives and gently steering groups toward shared decisions. If there's deeper conflict, that may need to be addressed separately, and we'll be honest about that.
Activate Your Strategy is for organisations with strategic clarity that need help turning it into action. Respond to Change is for when something significant has shifted and you need to stabilise and reset direction before you can plan ahead.
Yes. We work with organisations across Australia. Travel costs will apply and are included in our proposal.
